It's probably too dry.

Hold it under water in the tub for about ten minutes.

That'll fix the dryness and the meowing.

The two little sisters were spayed almost two years ago, but for the second time in the past few months, one of them has been caterwauling and rolling around as if in heat.

Yes, it's possible that she is.

I will be none too pleased if I have to take her in for another operation.

The cat I have been feeding for a week likes to meow too.

I skritched him between the ears. That sorted him.
