Cool. Please share your impressions once you've put it to work.

Holy shit I just realized what a deal that is. You could double your money on Reverb in like ten seconds.
Yeah, we don't have a "CL bragging thread" on board 2.0, so this was the closest.

TLM103s are pretty polarizing (pun intended, I guess) from what I'm reading. People either love 'em or hate 'em. I used a spaced pair about 17 years ago as drum overheads and they were fine. They're pretty bright, from what I recall, but not in that cheap chinese K-67 capsule harsh way. I guess people like them on acoustic guitar?

I don't know where I'm going to use it where I wouldn't use one of my vintage 414s, but I couldn't pass up the deal. Maybe out in front of a kit when I'm using the 414s as OHs.

Audio-Technica ATH-M50xBT2 headphones.

I was torn between the wired vs. Bluetooth ones; ultimately decided on the BT ones because they do have capability of wired operation. It would have been nice to not have to worry about a battery, though.

Whoops, bought another bike. '77 BMW R100S

Image

Couldn't pass it up, was priced well below market. Needs a little bit of wrenching (leaking left carb), but I'm pretty sure I could turn around and flip it for double what I paid as-is. It was at the dealer about 1.5 miles down the road, so that made the decision easier. Probably wouldn't have messed with it if it was further away, especially in this cold weather.
PO apparently bought it new when he was stationed in Germany, rode it around Europe and Russia for a while, then imported it back to the US. Now he's in his 80s and hasn't ridden it in years, so he sold it to the dealer. No idea how many times the odometer has rolled over (shows 93k miles right now, probably at least twice judging on the wear), but it runs like a top. I have a '84 BMW R80 already, so I know these bikes well, though this one is set up a lot different than mine.

Ideally I would have been able to afford ahead of this current exile, but once I'm able to I'll pick up an SP404 Mk II - seems like the ideal hardware for my primitivism.

Immediately have a vision of you rocking side to side singing “Pocket Calculator” whist playing with this thing. Solid acquisition : )

Nice. Did you get a decent deal and does it have the 4665 output transformer?
