Honestly, that does not sound like a bad idea at all. But, due to my new lease and the fact that my family and girlfriend are here I think I am going to try to find something in the area. I have also thought about getting my teaching certificate and teaching math or physics at a high school here.
Access to an enlarger and chemicals is really, really tempting though.
