Fully depends on the speaker, which ought to be obvious. This is my first experience with this Jupiter model but it was requested by the customer and I've gotta say i'm impressed. A lot of 8"s can sound overly bright but I found this one to do a nice job retaining low end. Sounds great and gets some nice break up. Plus it looks fantastic!

I don't mean to turn this into the "help me learn to make pedals" thread, but I have a couple of questions as I try to figure out if this is something I want to do. I somehow managed to create a dual kill switch that actually works, and now I'm kinda intrigued.

How do y'all cut your stripboards? Are you ordering to size based on the pedal or sawing through with an old fishing knife?
Is there a resource other than a couple of the message boards and reddit y'all use for advice, ideas, etc?

TIA y'all.

Happy to answer you here or elsewhere if you wanna start a new thread.

For stripboard I buy through rs-online and there are two material types: Epoxy Glass and Resin Bonded Paper. The Epoxy Glass kind you need to cut with a saw. The Resin Bonded Paper you can score with a utility knife and snap apart. I score along the holes, break, and sand the edge smooth (only for looks).

I have always just used freestompboxes.org or diystompboxes.com for info. Those are kinda the OG messageboards but there are a ton more now.
