Man, I've been kinda in love with the idea of a tele deluxe for a good bit now. A bandmate had one he played through a Bassman RI back in the 90's and I loved that guitar, even tho he abandoned it for an es335 knockoff in the first year we were playing together. Even a standard tele is looking pretty hot to me lately.

There are some super rad looking guitars on there today for $359. If you're capable of replacing electronics down the road, these could be excellent platforms for fucking around and modding or to leave as is.

The vintage tele in blonde and the Jazzmaster in either blue or white have me wishing I had some cash lying around.

I don't, lol.

that's exactly it. A bound neck block inlay telecaster or Jazzmaster for $360? Fark.

I've been lusting after synthesizers for a couple months, but I had to be reasonable and deal with some studio infrastructure issues that are more important and way less fun.

I've got my next studio computer set with a licensed copy of Reaper now (a scary transition for me) and stocked it with the Soundtoys plugins (the only fun part of this). I also got some custom cable made by Redco (still the best source for deals on random size and channel count snakes) to integrate my Allen & Heath preamps into my recording setup. Somehow for years I've only ever run up to 14 channels of preamp going at once, now I can record 16 (and suck it up and get one of my malfunctioning API preamps fixed since I have channels to cover it while it's at the doctor).

Which is all about as fun as buying cymbal stands.
