Maybe I'm a nerd but I love buying cymbal stands
Whatcha using these days? I was all in with the DW flush base stuff, but I'm kinda itching to get a few lightweight Yamaha cymbal stands
I like finding used stands on craigslist or at my local music shop. Anything double-braced and with the biggest wingnuts available. And booms that DON'T hide away into the lower shaft, because they only go to certain angles. I prefer booms with offset tilters for full 360 degrees of rotation. And fuck anything with plastic.

AEA N22. It was between this, an N8, and a Beyerdynamic M160, but I went with the N22 as I am recording at home and am still figuring out room treatments.

I plan to use it on stringed instruments and vocals, and if it doesn’t work I’ll which gears and find a nice vocal mic and maybe work backwards from there.

I am still kind of struggling with a clean electric guitar sound that works well on its own as in a solo guitar piece. Getting a good sound with it more is forgiving with other elements present. Bass, acoustic, baritone I am pretty happy with. Vocals are another story, as always.

If this "Clean..." sound is an open back guitar combo, have you tried to put a microphone on the back of the cabinet and hit the "Phase..." switch once that signal gets to the DAW/Board?

Man, I've been kinda in love with the idea of a tele deluxe for a good bit now. A bandmate had one he played through a Bassman RI back in the 90's and I loved that guitar, even tho he abandoned it for an es335 knockoff in the first year we were playing together. Even a standard tele is looking pretty hot to me lately.

There are some super rad looking guitars on there today for $359. If you're capable of replacing electronics down the road, these could be excellent platforms for fucking around and modding or to leave as is.

The vintage tele in blonde and the Jazzmaster in either blue or white have me wishing I had some cash lying around.

I don't, lol.
Co-worker of mine just got the green tele in - it's great! the fit and finish on it was excellent, it looks amazing - he still leveled the frets but it didn't need much at all.
The metal pickguard I thought would be one spot they cheaped out and it's really nice.

$360? This is an unbelievable guitar for that money - I just bought the white jazzmaster with the bound neck.

Fender put the prices up but sweetwater still has them at $360
