Are you trying to get something as close to the Camcos as possible (swap out correct hardware, similar wood and construction style, etc) or do you just want a white pearl 14" FT and call it a day? (wondering if something like a Gretsch Catalina tom will suffice)
Close-ish. If I pass on this and build from scratch, I'd probably go w/ a Keller shell, round-over bearing edges, re-rings. This Ludwig
has the re-rings, not the round-over edges and IDK that I'd go to the trouble and risk of cutting new to get it closer to Camco sound/spec unless it just sounded completely wrong.
Definitely wouldn't try to get similar hardware with this Ludwig or any other tom that's already wrapped in WMP. I'd only do that if I built from scratch...and even then IDK if I'd go so far as trying to get tuxedo lugs. From a distance, the wrap is going to get you 90%of the way there visually and the expense of die-cast rims also kinda cost-prohibitive honestly.
