My friend from Australia told me that you can get pre-mixed Bourbon and Cola over there. In a can. Like this -

I had a JD & Coke in a can in Prague a few years back. Through a combination of sign language and broken English the pissed barmaid indicated there'd be more booze in it than if she poured me one.

What the hell?! I've never seen anything like it.

This is the spirits equivalent of wine in a box.

You can buy Gordon's gin with Schweppes tonic and a splash of lime in a can - 10%.

Same deal for Jack Daniels, Marks and Spencer Cola and a twist of lemon.

I think there may be others as well... the funniest part is they come in posh looking M&S cans.... you see, it's M&S, it's classy, it makes it all ok.

Nope. I might have to buy this for lunch.

That's a proper Friday lunch there.

I'm still waiting for today's "Friday thread" - you know, the ridiculously frivolous but downright awesome one that usually involves bad puns or lots of pictures. The result of utter boredom mixed with childish excitement for the weekend to come. Thing is, I'm worried we had the Friday thread early, in the form of cjh's "Who's in the shed?" thread.

I hate being this much of a snob but if you liked spirits wouldn't you have the savvy to know that it probably shouldn't sit in a can with some dodgy cola for months on end?

This has seriously confused me.
