Buster Olney said this exact same thing on Mike and Mike this morning. The Yankees would push for Fields, though. There'd be about 8 teams bidding for A-Rod.

Heh, out here in California all the talk is ARod going to Anaheim, San Diego, or the Dodgers. I don't really see what the Padres or Dodgers have to offer in a trade though.

Why? So that they would have two third basemen? Unless they'd try to repackage Crede or Fields in another deal, I don't see the sense in it.

They might want to push for Ryan Sweeney, Jerry Owens or any one of a number of young pitchers.
