Semi. I managed to climb Helvellyn and two other peaks in knee-deep snow, over three consecutive days a couple of years ago. I've been going the gym twice a week since September.

When I was younger I was shy to the point of being retarded and still am occasionally. Although, I enjoy being gregarious and can be assertive if see someone behaving unjustly to someone else.

When was the last time that you've cried? Full on, about two months ago while discussing splitting up with my wife. I got teary eyed about two weeks ago during the "Heiliger Dankgesang" movement at a performance of Beethoven's Opus 132 Quartet....it was gorgeous.

What was the last good CD/LP that you've purchased? Complete Shostakovich Symphonies boxset, Rudolf Barshai conducting the WSR Symphony
What do you see if you look directly to your right? My wife's cat "Kitty", bookshelf with music scores, books on flying and photography, 50s lamp with whipstitch shade and ceramic base reminiscent of Van Briggle, pair of Eames/Herman Miller upholstered fiberglass shells on rocker bases.

I don't like marches...everyone chanting some simple-minded drivel, and conducting themselves in ways generally antithetical to being taken seriously....seems both ineffective and against the instincts of a rational free-thinking individual.
How would you describe your parents? Generous, liberal, supportive, but never controlling or intrusive. Introverted.
