I'm here for at least a year.

I actually thought that, with several huge life changes recently, it would be best for my mental and emotional health to stay put for a spell.

That's pretty sweet.

If things change in a year, throw transport in your calculations if you didn't already. Getting around here is a fraction of what it costs anywhere else in the country.

I like the Yaris but I hired one in Portugal and had to decant passengers to get it up a steep hill.

Salut, vockins.

Josef K, Chicago doesn't have any hills. Like, none.

But I'll try to find one today on my test drive to check it out, even if it means driving over a 66-year-old man while I take a right-hand turn onto K Street. Or something.

I'm currently learning to drive (finally) in one of those 'new' mini coopers, which I quite like, but I also like the look of the Yaris, lots of people have them round here.

Hey, my bank just approved me for up to $43,000 (I asked for $14,000) for 60 months with their best-offered interest rate of 5.39%.

Is that a good fixed apr?

My mom got a Yaris.
Awesome car, fun to drive, sips gas. Way more room than you'd think.

Is this for a new or used car? For a used car I think this is very good. For a new car I'm not sure, but 5.39% seems pretty fair.

Hi R.F.F., 5.39% is for a new car.

For a used car <$15K, the apr is 6.59%. For used >$15K, 5.89%.

According to Bankrate.com this is a pretty good deal.
