from LimeWire - the band supports it. Sure, the record company wants you

comp of early stuff. Stahlversion is a high note for me - not just anyone can
play a bridge.
Always been a fan of these guys. Well, the disco era gets difficult to swallow, but where do you go from using a cement mixer and jackhammers? Demolition rock? A musical wrecking crew? I'd like to see that live.

63These days when i am really angry and need music to be some sort of conduit, it has to be Pearl Bomb by the Melvins, but the new version from Houdini Live. 1 minute 39 seconds of pure fury. Seriously though, don't listen to it whilst driving. Seriously. You will break the law.
After i've listened to that several times i switch to Mastodon. Usually March of the Fire Ants, Workhorse, Blood and Thunder amongst others.
The ultimate pissed off song for me though is Super Roots 3 : Karaoke of the Cosmos - Hard Trance Away by Boredoms. It's quite hard to get the CD but i'm sure it's downloadable fairly easily. It's basically a half hour long super punk thrash out that rarely changes chord and never changes tempo or breaks down at any point. Like the title suggests, it does induce a trance like state, but an extremely angry trance. The best thing about it is that it's the absolute greatest song to put on at maximum volume and just scream along to. Really. It has no lyrics (aside from EyE shouting Boredoms at the beginning and doing the odd sqeal here and there) but it's as if they really wanted the listener to scream their head off while they listen. So good. I can't think of another song i can so freely shout and scream along to and actually feel like i'm part of the recording. That's the way to release all that pent up rage when i'm in the pissed off zone. Hell yeah.

64Hey.
I just dug this thread back up. There look like some good recommendations. I'll check them out.
Oh, and H-GM: I don't know what you found on Knut, but the record to get is either the Knut EP, of Challenger. Both are better than the other things they've done. It's really excellent stuff.
= Justin
PS- Maurice, that was funny.

Good album, but the performances feel quite leaden at times.
prefer the 1982 demos myself, with Rollins, Ginn, Cadena, Dukowski, and Biscuits.
But nevertheless, a very good album. Sounds like manna from heaven when you're depressed. Or, at least, it did to me when I was depressed.
Life...life...I know it's got its ups and downs.

I believe it was a random MP3 I found on their Hydrahead site. Thanks for the tips!
