handgun deaths
censorship
attitude toward smelly US musicians falling out of vans
record shops
language
drinking
domestic electricity
legal attire
accents
"elected" leaders
druggy children's televsion programmes
and (get this) universal free healthcare
i think that may be a win, eh old chaps?

Aye, that thing on my head comes from a the inside of a mate's hood from his coat - I'm really a shaven haven. 
As for the Brit vs US thing, both have provided great contributions to recording and popular music over the years so it's hard to decide really.
