For several weeks, I thought season 2 promised to be near-great; by the end, it was barely satisfying. It's like the writers dropped all of these cool potential scenarios early on, and then proceeded to take the easiest, most unimaginative escapes out of every one.
Still not crap, because I know that every week there's a good chance that Michael C. Hall will make me laugh half a dozen different ways in an hour.

63I loved it until it dawned on me that their is no way that black cop wouldn't have nailed him by now. It just gets too sloppy by the end.
