seeing these pictures actually got me so pumped that i reread the whole damn book today - at work no less. And I couldn't put it down even though I've read it countless times before. I'm on a total geek roll right now.

And now, of course, I'm freaking out about all the minor details - the casting, the director, etc... etc... The pictures look pretty damn good though. Here's hoping Dr. Manhattan looks alright...

i've never read any Watchmen comics, nor do I know anything about the series, but the fact that Kelly Leak from the Bad News Bears is in the movie makes me want to see it.

I've read in a couple of places that a Watchmen teaser may be running before The Dark Knight.

I'm glad to see you guys amping up. I have a feeling this is actually going to be a great movie. Maybe even the "Ben Hur" of superhero movies.

Half?

Too bad it isn't coming out this summer. This one is truly the comic book movie season. Iron Man, The Incredible Hulk, Hellboy 2 and The Dark Knight. I'm not usually a comic book movie fan, but Iron Man and Hulk were pretty good. And, from what I've read, Hellboy and Batman are going to be even better.

I think someone said on Ed Brubaker's blog he said something along the lines of "If the movie is half as good as the trailer, it will be amazing."
