Hey Ty, we have the same subway stop so I will remind you, or at least I think it's you. I saw you the other morning and I recognised you (or at least I thought it was you) but could not remember why I recognised you in my non caffinated state how.

I'm the guy in the suit (I got a new high fangled office job).

Aha! I thought that was you, but the suit threw me off!

Are we firm on a place yet? Seems to me we're looking at -

1. The Beer Garden.
2. Spitzer's Corner.

I love the Beer Garden, but must acknowledge that its charm is most evident with warm weather. I especially love that it's close to my house, but...

I've never been to Spitzer's Corner.

If people just want to get hammered beyond hammered, there is no choice - go to Mars Bar; do not pass Go nor collect no 200 clams.

SO WHERE ARE WE DOING THIS?

Hey, I haven't been on this thread in a while...so it's beer at Spitzers on the 27th? If the majority of you are from Williamsburg (heh heh heh) I was just at the Brooklyn Ale house on Saturday. I don't spend much time in "the 'Burg" but that place is pretty great. It has a decent, rock-oriented juke box and a pretty good selection.

Despite my tendency to shy away from any ale with the word "Winter" in it (being that it usually tastes like someone dumped nutmeg, cinnamon and some sugar-cookie dough in a Guiness, and becomes nauseating after about 1/2 a pint), I tried the Smuttynose Winter Ale and it was fantastic. There are a ton of other beers on tap including Anchor Steam and Old Speckled Hen (not exactly obscure, I know, but still nice). They have mulled cider that you can spike with rum or whiskey. And the bartenders did not flinch when I ordered 4 Irish car bombs either.

So PRFers, I am submitting this location as another possibility if it is more convenient for you.
