My wife and I have this thing where when we know we will be hanging out around a bunch of yuppie college kid white people we haven't met before we count the seconds in which it takes each to ask what you do for a living after meeting them.

it's true. i was recently at a friends wedding, surface to say i was wankered by the early evening. i got chatting to someone I had no clue who he was and before i knew it he was going on about that he was off to Dubai the next morning and that he organised corporate functions or whatever. next came an unsubtle dropping of how much he was going to earn from a job which forced him to turn around from a weekend with friends so he could earn big bucks. He was on a roll, next came a tale about a party held by Lord Sainsbury's son that he was at. I had to interrupt and inform him come the revolution him and his fellow high fliers were to be first up against the wall. He made some excuse and left. I have no compassion towards these scum bags.

Honestly, it's not only the white yuppies...black yuppies are even worse sometimes, I'd say mexican yuppies but there are no mexican yuppies...they don't have time for that nonsense, they have to find a ride to work.

i'm neither proud nor ashamed to be white, but i do derive a certain satisfaction from looking a bit european. this has nothing to do with any sort of white pride, but rather a certain antipathy toward the sort of american jocko homos i had to go to school with.

but i really fucking hate this "there are more white dorks than black nerds" bollocks. take a look around you, people. proportionally speaking, there a just a many parochial black people as there are parochial white people. and there's just as much stupid shit in black culture as there is in white culture. most black people these days are just as ignorant about funk and soul records as white people. there is just as much homophobia/xenophobia/misogyny in black culture as there is in white culture.
