If I ever actually ever saw Roller Derby happening, would I understand it? As a game, I have no idea how it is won or scored. I am oblivious to sports for the most part, but I have a general understanding of how they are played at least. Not so with RD.

Have all the old punk rock names been mined out by the players already?

atedarecook, you had a couple of very good suggestions! Unfortunately, they are taken, too. So is Violent Beauregarde.

One thing to note: This is my wife, which means she married a man. Lesbians don't traditionally marry men, so the "dyke" names don't really work.

Since these days there are as many roller derby skaters (and damn near as many roller derby leagues) as there are bands, all the good names are probably taken, just like all the good band names.

I just hope they do not also have to resort to sentences as names, such as This Dyke Is A Pipe Bomb or Block Your Jammer Say Oof.

Her name is Keri. I suggested Kerisene, but she doesn't like it.
