now...as far as my end is concerned, i really want that fucking p-bass. everyone convince busbus to get my EGC now, plz thx.

If I could have either of those basses, I'd choose the EGC over the p-bass in a heartbeat.

it's easy enough to try out. unsolder and flip the two leads from one pickup. done.

I popped my jazz bass open about 7 seconds after reading this and tried the swap. Sounds great to my ears, the harmonics are out of control.
