Did you guys see Bear Claw when they played there or something? That's totally Rich's move. Although he does it with a bass, not a guitar.

I do this with a mic stand sometimes, in the studio a Spoon makes a good mic stand.

I saw Matt Cronk do it on Paul's cymbal live. Made one hell of an awful noise.

I play fancy, expensive, ostentatious solos.
Basically I'm a rich man's Lindsey Buckingham. It takes me four months to complete just the opening riff of a song, utilizing at least three different studios in the process. Figure I'm dropping $1000 per note, or 2k for the minimalist stuff.

Lately, I find myself writing songs with a part of the verse that has no lyrics. I'll stick a ham-fisted attempt in that spot. Fuck it, I'm 33. That's prime soloin' age.
I'm sure this has been posted already. Watch it again...for the first time. So good.

I play two kinds:
1.) Ear-shredding feedback for eight bars.
2.) Rhythm guitar, but on the high strings.
"Grant Cross Punch Out" was a fluke.
"Tetsuo II: Body Hammer" isn't me, it's our drummer.
