I would like to see them as Metallica:

SA as Bob Rock
BWIV as the therapist
TST as Lars Ulrich

They should just come on and talk.

steves 500 sounds worse now that he has changed the pick ups. sounds generic with less clarity. oh well. the only option really would be to bring his black 500 on the road really.

Got tickets to see them in Glasgow in Nov. Not sure how well it'll come across in the relatively huge ABC but they were superb last time in the Edinburgh Liquid Rooms so fingers crossed!

The brass-covered pickups were weaker, and the brass cover wasn't any more resistant to the metal pick wear than the plastic covers, so I recently swapped them out. The 500 now sports a new set of milled aluminum pickups that sound fantastic.

I will be bringing the Electrical as a backup though.

Equipment nerdery aside, the last Shellac show I saw in Paris was the best I ever saw them play.

I hope to be at the show in Glasgow or London. Maybe both if my schedule is favourable.
