Yes, but it's a healthy guarantee. I don't want to do these paid tours for someone's band things anymore. She knows that. I've never cheated at home or tour and she knows that also. The craziness is not about this either.
The main crux of our arguments have to do with her job. She works for a small company, like really small, two guys. It's real estate/events planning/whatever...it doesn't matter what the job is. It's a small business so she works like crazy. I help out in the evenings and weekends (just running things to fed ex, printers, data entry, etc.) but she still works 90 hrs a week when she isn't out of town. She basically isn't compensated fairly. Her average salary is would be fine for a 40-45 hr week but it's worth about half. There is no sign of anything slowing down. Instead of confronting them and getting paid what she is worth she would rather just say 'fuck it' and quit a job that she actually enjoys.
There it is. The frustrating part is me watching her getting stepped on and instead of standing up for herself, she'd rather just quit and find another job. It just seems like it would be worth trying but she would rather avoid any and all confrontation (or even discussion) with them while still bending over backwards.
I don't understand it. I think it's crazy and it's a behavior pattern I have seen in women in past relationships.

Most people are a lot crazier than they either realize, admit to themselves, or both. Classic example: my dad. I bet he thinks he's normal. He's not. Not by a loooonnngg shot.
My mom is more normal than my dad is, but she has some serious power and control issues, which she just will not admit to having, though she clearly does have a couple. (this is all filtered through my perspective, obviously, which can be pretty faulty.)
At least my ex was diagnosed, for chrissakes.
So, the point of this ramble is that people are crazy in general.

Your problem is that "all women are insane." Solution is simple enough. Follow the chart and choose the personality that fits your style if "insane" doesn't work for you:
Dames: Saucy
Broads: Bossy
Chicks: Sassy
Skirts: Homely
Bitches: Bitchy
Tarts: Tarty
Sluts: Slutty
Go forth and prosper.

No, just
mysterieuse!
I couldn't find the clip from
Deux ou trois choses..., but this will do instead.
Otherwise, I'd save this sort of nonsense for drunken commiserations with male friends.

My current attitude is that all women are crazy, meaning that they are insecure, volatile and illogical. I'm tired of being used as a therapist, being smacked without warning and having someone nod in agreement with me while repeating the opposite of what I just said. The reason I say this is b/c this seems to be all I have dealt with.
If all I ever ate were peaches out of a can (with the syrup) I would assume that that is what a peach tasted like.

FINALLY, an answer. Thank you.
Colonel Panic wrote:Maybe you need to concentrate on yourself a bit more. Take some time, get to work on a few pet projects or something. Relying too much on other people for your own happiness is a certain way to ensure your own misery.
I'm certainly not relying on anyone but myself for happiness. Show a me a women that doesn't drive me up a wall and Ill try to marry her. If John Mellencamp ever got anything right....

Ever think that maybe you're just attracted to (or tend to attract) the "crazies"?
