people in developed countries will wear sunglasses that allow them to 'skin' what they see, kind of like what the Terminator sees. it will be as annoying and reality-splintering as cell phones - some people will never take them off.

the portion of people who reject or limit the use of networking & wireless technologies will become a pretty big counterculture in the next 30 years.

I wish blimps would make a comeback but they probably won't.
