I am not sure what other browsers offer this but the appeal for me is largely in it's "restore session" ability - that has avoided a lot of annoyance for me more than a few times.

I like it, but the way it renders fonts and the BB emoticons on the standard install of Ubuntu Linux is ass.

On a Mac, it's ugly ass, but works better than Safari on some websites. I don't have a problem with the speed.

On a Windows PC it rules. IE can fuck off.

OK - so in Firefox 3 whenever I have multiple tabs open and I go to close the browser, I get this seemingly helpful little choice:



I always choose 'Save and Quit'.

It seems like random now whether it will behave though.

Sometimes the browser opens right back up with the same tabs as before.

Sometimes the browser opens to only a single perfectly blank tab
(like it doesn't even go to my specified 'Home Page" even...

Lately it's been about a 50/50 crapshoot.


Anybody else experiencing this?
