A few changes since I last posted here; my dad died and I inherited some of his guitars. Also inherited his brother's Hofner acoustic I used to covet when I was an impressionable kid...The Electrics- early 70s SG, 60s Guild Starfire, 65 Fender Mustang, 65 Gretsch Single Anniversary (no OG parts; pickup rewound, scratchplate from a different gtr, replaced tuners, bridge etc); Front- 60s Fender Coronado 12, 1970s ES345 (dad's 70th present)Acoustics; 68 Gibson J160, 70s Martin D41, the aforementioned Hofner President, 70s Gibson Celebrity 12. Front; dad's 60s Epiphone The basses; I mostly play bass in bands, but only had the 72' Mustang for years. Came across the Ibanez Black Eagle in a hippie shop last week for essentially no money so I bought my first guitar in about a decade. Is a bit partied, and has been rewired weirdly (three volume controls?!) but I like it. The Danelectro is a baritone but strung e-e an octave down. Might switch it back.
