I don't think I have an adaptor (though I will check) but If you have a G4 or G5 tower I can probably send you a graphics card with both ADC and DVI outputs.I plan to use it with a Mac Mini (hello, Mr. Arrison) and/or a Cube.

I don't think we have anything that would fit the mini, and I can't find an adaptor. Let me know if you keep the Cube and want me to send a card across.

Hope that shows up soon. I hate soldering. Need to find my lost soldering iron so I don't have to keep borrowing Adam's. Wiring harness arrived yesterday, bought $8 Radio Shack soldering iron today. Turns out, I didn't need the long-shaft pots. The last time I tried to change the pots on this guitar, I got shipped pots with a 1/4" thread (wtf?) and didn't realize until now that they were super-short. This whole time, I thought Ibanez was using some sort of mutant 1/2" threaded pot. 3/8" would have been fine. Oh well. I used an extra set of washers and nuts and now have the pots hovering nearly half an inch above the surface of the control cavity. This made soldering the pickups and switch a lot easier, actually. Totally a happy accident. Finished wiring it up at 11:30 pm, so I've only tried it through the Bassman on 1 with the Little Big Muff in front, but it sounds pretty raging so far. Will probably use at the upcoming USS Horsequit show. Have a generic humbucker mounted in the neck position but not installed because the leads are too short. Will probably replace with a Duncan Jazz or some cheap GFS stuff in the near future when funds allow. Located multimeter, tested a Duncan that I didn't know was trashed or not, measured a healthy 13.7k, threw it in the bridge position. The stock knobs don't fit on the new pots unfortunately, so I have to buy some split-shaft dome knobs in the near future. Man, oh man do I hate those flush-mount jack Ibanez uses. Next tech tasks: Attempt fret level/dress on Epiphone Elitist Les Paul Custom when radius block shows up.Replace stock pickups in Squier Super-Sonic with the Duncan set I recently yanked out of my Les Paul Studio.

Over the weekend:- Replaced some broken faders in an NSI lighting controller and tested it and the associated dimmers. One channel on the dimmer acted funny at first, but then it straightened up and I couldn't get it to misbehave. It will at the show of course.- Tested the noisy AT 4049a, and the noise followed the capsule so I sent that off to AT to get fixed- Soldered up a whole bunch of XLR-TRS cables that had the wrong gender XLRs for my application.- Made a couple custom length XLR cables so that I could free up a couple longer cables and clean up the mess of extra cabling.- Tested a couple passive DI boxes that I had marked as "broken/DNU" but my testing couldn't get them to fail again, so I put them back in the box.- Replaced a negative wire that failed in a wiring harness on my boat, which got the bilge pump working again. That was a pain in the ass.- More testing of the new Studer A-80MR

Too much drive makes me worry about the little tube amp I'm running it through.I have an old Morley Echo Volume and the LED/Sensors require constant attention. It sucks because other than that, it is one of the best delays I have heard.

Trying to figure out what to do with this old Kodak Brownie I've acquired. It takes 620 film, which of course went off the market years ago, but I hear one can re-spool 120 film onto a 620 spool and all will be well. I've also heard tell of 35mm-to-620 adapters, but I've seen these mostly on eBay and they seem somewhat untrustworthy. So here I am with my dilemma.

I finally built myself a work bench last week using left over lumber from last summer's deck project, which in turn, has ended my excuse for not fixing numerous small projects. So in quick sucession I:* Hacked away the dangling multicap can on the Altec 1591A compressor, resoldered some leads, and plugged it in for the first time in 18 months. Success! I then patched it in to my rack and have been testing it since. Signal sounds good, compression is working, and it is no longer crapping out after 10 minutes like it used to. The power light even flickers to life occassionally, which it hasn't done for years.* Opened up the Morley Power Wah Boost I got for $10 at Goodwill last spring, retaped the "envelope" that covers the light sensor, and tightened a few bolts. Now it actually works and the pedal doesn't just flop around. The boost on this thing is insane: +40db! Too much drive makes me worry about the little tube amp I'm running it through.* Found and replaced the noisy 6AV6 tube in the Arc amp that was making an annoying buzz (which I thought was the speaker for the longest time).I feel good.
