Bitch Magnet toured with a different drummer?
Yeah, on the
Ben Hur tour, pretty much toward the end of the band. I recall seeing an article around that time talking about "changes in the band" (along with a photo that didn't match previous ones), and when I saw them the drumming wasn't the same at all. I can't absolutely verify this, but it wasn't the same level of energy I'd been expecting. Dunno the personnel list at the time, though. (Sooyoung was still there, of course.)

Really?
I saw them on the last tour and it was still Orestes playing...I find it hard to believe they'd have played without him since his drumming was pretty central.
Interesting though; there's so little info about them out there, but I know so many people who found their records to be pivotal. More-so than Slint's.

I could be wrong, of course. Maybe it just wasn't a good show for them--certainly the audience was sparse.
You're certainly right about the paucity of information about them, and I do wonder about the details.

Yeah; I'd love somebody to do a detailed article about them; their 2nd and 3rd records changed my thinking regarding music forever. My relationship with BM is like many people's relationship with Slint.

Hilarious.
that is really one of the worst sites ever. I post on it sometimes, but rarely to any avail. That's why I always post my drum questions on electrical
