If not, then you have other issues.Easy peasy worked like a charm. Thanks Nate!

Verbs & Nouns wrote:What s the deal with the 400rb III 2x10 combos? Could you take the amp out and use it by itself with separate cabs? Is it just a 400rb head built into a combo or something different? I found one cheap-ish.I'm almost certain it's the same head, I see those doing sound all the time.In my experience they sound pretty good, both coming out the speakers and coming out the DI.

Verbs & Nouns wrote:There s a 400RB in my city for $350 (Australian). It s been available for awhile, but it s slowly going down in price. I m not sure if I bother getting the money together when I m already playing through an Acoustic 470 and a Rusty Box. Will I just be getting a similar sound?I've owned both and to my ears the ACC 470 is a MUCH better amp, one of the best bass amps ever, in fact.I'm in the minority here but I don't think 400RBs are all that. I played through a few different ones over the years and they were fine but not for me.

Love the 470there s nothing "special" about the 400rb, but has a good range to put pedals in front of. It s indestructible and light. Other bass amps in the price range sound like farts. You can plug into a 400rb and sound fine. If you need smooooth bass, you'll sound great with no effort.470 has its own thing going and I prefer the sound of the preamp, but I have a borken one in my basement and my 400rb keeps trucking.
