13 AssassinsThis just may be Takashi Miike's best film. It's definitely one of the best Samurai flicks I've ever seen.

They Came Back. Leave it to the French to distill an emotionally engaging existential drama from the zombie genre. I really liked it, and my girlfriend gives it two wet hankies.
