The Who Sell Out is brilliant. It approaches many of the Kinks' 60's output. Some amazing songs on there - Tattoo, I Can See For Miles, Sunrise.

I only heard Who's Next maybe a year and a half ago. I went in thinking yeah, ok, whatever. It kind of blew me away. Overrated, yes, but it really is a monster album.

When I was fifteen I got into The Who, bought the records. Their first "farewell tour" in '82 was actually my first concert, at the L.A. Coliseum with The Clash and T-Bone Burnett.

I once called my dad into my room so that he could watch me pantomine the long keyboard part at the end of Won't Get Fooled Again on the top of my dresser. I did not know how to play keyboards. To his credit he's never brought that up again. Probably thought I was on dope.

Quadrophenia alone gives them a Not Crap from me. I like a dozen or so of there other tunes, but overall they are not one of my favorites.
