I got Fun House and Marquee Moon in the same purchase, my intro to both bands. Needless to say, I wore out Fun House before FINALLY giving Television a listen. You can dance to Fun House ('Down on the Street'). Not so much with Raw Power, though I love it.

Just picked up the new album over this weekend. I love it, actually. Everything just blends together so well, although it is really hard to make out Watt's bass.

I thought Iggy's vocals were particularly interesting- a couple of the tracks he sounds like David Bowie. The recording is excellent-no surprise there.

Still a solid band, solid players. Asheton's playing is incredible.

Salut!

Weirdly I thought the new album was a bit so-so, Idea of Fun and the title track being my favourites.
That was until I finally got the vinyl version and heard the extra tracks on it. Those four tracks seriously kick ass! Never thought I'd hear the Stooges covering the Beatles.
Also the Stooges are the greatest live band alive. (The Who in their heyday just pipped them but now half of them are dead.)
