My friend Dave thinks "Generic" is the greatest album of all-time. He once wrote me all the reasons why it was better than my top five favorite albums of all time. If I come across it, it's getting posted, because it is hilarious and insightful.
Send it to me if you can find it, cause that's awesome.
On another note, I REALLY need to send Christopher Public Flipper Limited/Flipper live boot I burned for him at least three months ago.

Without a doubt, the noisiest version of
In Life My Friends I've ever heard, and one of the better Flipper performances on video I've seen. Thanks Ted!

My friend lent me Generic today, and i'm liking it quite a lot. Man it still sounds fucked up today, I bet they stood out a mile among the hardcore bands who were their peers.

'Sex Bomb' is the best song every recorded. For maybe ten years every mixtape I made had 'Sex Bomb' as the last track. I prefer it to anything on 'Funhouse' even. That good.
I can't listen to Flipper anymore but there was a time when I did an awful lot.
NOT CRAP!

Loudest band I ever saw. Saw them in the Seventh Street Entry - I think about 1984-1985. If anyone could be louder then that, Flipper is probably that band.

Flipper is a great name for a band.
Legend has it Ricky Williams named the band when they found a half eaten dolphin on the beach. He was later kicked out of Flipper for being "too messed-up on drugs", which has to be some kind of achievement if you think about it.

no prob. it's a
great performance, isn't it? like getting your brain dissolved in a pounding torrent of shrapnel noise while some guy ruminates about life over it...
