Embarking on a "don't fuck it up" session...REVISITED!
61i have one of these sessions coming up. i've got a little bit of time, but it's a 5 piece band that wants to record live with minimal overdubs. they will also need a guide vocal and they will all probably need headphones. so i've realized i'm short a couple pairs of headphones, a couple mic cables (maybe), and i'll need at least one more headphone amp. i'm also going to need one more mic. my plan is to 'charge' the band one beta 52 new or used. i've been using a 421 on kick, but i want to free up the extra 421, and i've been wanting a beta 52.i've heard the two songs we're recording. i think they are iPhone recordings. lots of dynamics, lots of quite passages and the drummer is doing lots of sprinkly stuff on cymbals and snare. there are also 2 guitars, bass, and keyboard.the scratch vocal needs to be drenched in reverb, so i need to make sure i have my aux sends all figured out. pfl etc.
