Netflix
Series 3 of The Repair Shop, a BBC series where a barnful of craftsmen and -women repair and refurbish various items. A bit too much filler: the show could do with more footage of the actual work, but still quite enjoyable.

Mr. Inbetween, now on its third season. I find it compulsively watchable. Well-made enough that it's worth arguing over. Does the critical eye it occasionally casts on Ray Shoesmith, the main character, manage to counterbalance the way it glorifies his criminal badassedness? You be the judge.
This is a wonderfully meditative program. Highly recommended.

Watched the first three episodes of White Lotus on HBOmax. Not sure how I feel about it and not ready to give up. It feels like something big is gonna happen. I mean we know something big happens, but the build-up to it seems long-winded.
Qanon doc is fascinating.

Gah! Haven't yet watched that new transfer of Minnie and Moskowitz and just realized it'll be taken off the Criterion Channel at the end of the month. Gotta get off the internet and watch more movies.

Very late to the party. I just started Breaking Bad two weeks ago.
Yep, I like it.

Yes. Best damn horror movie in the last decade.
Slither just got added to Amazon Prime. It’s dumb, but a good drinking (or whatever) flick.

Anyone else watching HBO's White Lotus? I'm loving the music in it.

the Hulu doc w/ Paul McCartney & Rick Rubin is pretty good. mainly if you're interested in hearing a lot of solo'd tracks from some classic songs. worth it mainly to hear them solo just the drums & bass on While My Guitar Gently Weeps - absolutely fucking killer bass part & insane sounding tone.
great stories where Paul kind of rips Clapton a few times, talks about how seeing Fela Kuti changed his life...good stuff.
