Ed Asner, too. Lou Grant is great and all but what really made him a legend was his activism against U.S. involvement in Central America and his scathing contempt for Reagan. And he kicked Pat Sajack's ass on Celebrity Jeopardy.

I haven’t listened to Scratch Perry for years. “Arkology” is going to be on repeat for the next day. A sad week that has two days dedicated to tribute. RIP.

Pun intended, but I do indeed feel slightly upset about this one. There aren't many musicians/producers whom you can convincingly claim invented entire genres. Going to be playing "Arkology" on repeat for the next few days too, no doubt.

Seconded. Too young to remember much of "Lou Grant" but I have read about his political activities and it sounds like he was indeed rather a top geezer.
