The argument is really silly, Ian and Jeff have said since day one that the purpose of the label is to document what is happening in the DC music scene. Other labels (slowdime) evolved out of that to cover other bands.

So only 26 great, genre defining bands from one small city. Nothing remarkable.

The first Branch manager Lp is cool.

As is some Holy Rollers and Trusty stuff also.

The severin Lp is ok. And Jeff Nelson's poppie band, can't remember the name. Of two minds is the Lp. Is nice.

I mean, none of the above I mentioned is superb, but is definitely worth.

I listened to Dark Side of the Moon a few years ago for the first time and enjoyed it, which was kind of surprising, as I've never been a Floyd fan.
