A fun little romp, and true to the spirit of the source material. Glad they didn't try to make it something it isn't.
I enjoyed Supersex. Hit more than it miss, and it was at least bold in the places it dropped the ball.

Netflix
Dead Boy Detectives. Based on characters in Neil Gaiman's The Sandman. Fun, if you like supernatural angsty teen stuff.

The Signal, on Netflix. I was worried the end was gonna suck but it was perfect.

Started the first season of Them, the television series about a black family from North Carolina moving to Compton in the early 1950s. So far it's been more ire-inducing than a creepfest, though there's that as well. Wanted to punch the screen more than a couple of times. I'm only on the 3rd episode and can tell by the last I'm going to be randomly punching white guys in public. Racist horror porn.

Was gonna start this soon.
The Sympathizer is just OK, I don't get the hype. It feels REALLY forced with the identity stuff, like it's a lesson for dipshits. It's got some good moments, though.

Hacks season 3 has been a welcome addition of lightness to this heavy week. Crushin' on the Ava character a bit, who looks like she could be in Stereolab circa 1995.

We started watching Girls 5 Eva. A few episodes in, and it's just ok so far. I've heard it gets better. I really don't like how the scripts have so many celeb references (Dan Cortese?) that are going to require footnotes someday. It's just lazy writing.
