Re: What are you buying, What's on its way?
I should have thought of that, I’m down to a pair now but just passed up a $75 Pro 37 in Houston. Stuff like that would be a good thing to buy just to sell it at cost to people who might appreciate it for what it isGarth wrote: Tue Dec 20, 2022 8:49 pmHMU if you are covered for Pro 37r mics. 615wanted a simi hollow for a long time so I pulled the trigger on this. Always liked guilds I've played.

Really Great. fret ends could stand to be rounded over a bit, but otherwise it feels great. Body is chambered so it feels like a cloud compared to my Les Paul custom. Action is great. Neck feels great. Bigsby is fun, though I typically prefer a hard tail (I think the bigsby definitely looks better than the chevron hard-tail on gretsches...maybe if it were reversed it would look better to me, I don't know)losthighway wrote: Mon Dec 26, 2022 5:41 pmThose things always looked awesome to me. Sound wise, I need to spend some more time with it. I've read various takes on the stock black top filter'trons that are already making me itch to upgrade them after some brief amped playing, but I honestly need to run it through it's paces more. All in all a really nice package.

I just traded a korean LP for 3 pedals.

Bought a 1979 MXR Dyna Comp on the cheap that has been modded with a Ross mod, true bypass, and DC adapter jack.

I got a silver one earlier this year. I love it. A really playable resonant guitar. Like yours, the frets on mine needed a little work, but a decent set-up later, and it sings - a joy to play. I got it precisely because of the Bigsby. I'm sure the p/ups could be improved on, but for now, I'm leaving it be.thecr4ne wrote: Mon Dec 26, 2022 11:19 pmReally Great. fret ends could stand to be rounded over a bit, but otherwise it feels great.
