When I lived in New York I pretty much ate rice every day.

As I recall I was on the 'Smoke Yourself Thin' Diet back in '04.

Made the 1.5 mile walk, with music, from the local university to work in one hour yesterday. Was kinna chatty/talky. I work a Sunday Brunch tamarry. Have the day off today. I plan on downloading music off the internet and gmail accounts.

I'm braing dead and sore. Why does it seem like you don't have a job when you get a day off too soon?

Happy Sa' day.

Oooh.

Are they still good live? I think they have made some of the best pop records that hardly anyone (in the US, at least) has heard. I'm not talking about Bandwagonesque, I'm talking about their more recent ones. Some real gems there.

The most current album that I've heard is "Grand Prix". How was the album that they did with Jad Fair?

I used the phrase 'That's like bringing a pussy to a cockfight' while talking to my boss earlier today about some legal issues the company has going on. I have only talked to him maybe twice before, nothing besides 'hello' before today.
Stopped him in his tracks, he didn't know where to go with it. He laughed eventually, then I heard him telling the other boss about it later and they were both laughing.

today i had a naive an interesting musical experience. i worked all day long on this damn website, was bored and pissed off, so called my friend that play guitar and drums, went to his space, and played as a 2 piece (he playing drums, and i played guitar)
we finished playing some sort of very noisy-punk-heay-rock-metal-crap for hours and hours. it was hilarous at hell (we don't listen to hardcore and metal at all, and my band is a indie-fucking-pop band) and i had probably the best time that i had playing music in my life.
so basically, today i discovered the joys of heavy-ish music. im listening to jesus lizard and pissed jeans comes next. now i feel like in my place in the electrical forum! salut everyone!

They hired a new Mexican dude here at my work and he barely speaks English.
This job is extremely complicated, it was hard enough for me to learn all this stuff and I have no idea how they expect him to learn it.
The bad thing for him about this job is nobody will show you anything, you have to learn it on your own...they just sit you down and say 'ok, do it' and everyone ignores you until you have proven you can figure out how to do it and are here for the long run. People come and go all the time, most people last a few days because it's so much stuff and it seems impossible to learn without help at first. There's ways of doing it, but you have to really scramble and be able to think fast and BS your way through things till you catch on. These skills I can see he does not possess at all. All day he just sat and stared at the wall. Waiting for someone to tell him what to do, I guess.
I tried to show him some basic stuff but he just stares at you and go 'yes, yes'
I feel bad for him but I just don't have it in me to take him under my wing, I've already taken it upon myself to train the new girl because she's slutty and cute and has tattoos and that's enough nonsense as it is.
I just had to turn my back on him, it's just the way it has to be.
Sorry Pepe, nothing I can do. But rest assured, It's not gonna be enjoyable watching you go down one bit.
