As you know, our honorable judges, Bradley R. Weissenberger and Angus Jung, are resigning....nominate me as a replacement judge, I propose the following.....A band name battle to the death....
Starting today at 5pm and carrying on through the weekend, I propose that all participants (both current and previously eliminated) submit their top 3 favorite band names (your own or someone elses) that have been submitted since the game began. Names recieving the most votes will advance to the next round. All others will be eliminated.
Honorable AlBStern, compassionate future judge of judges, a question:
How exactly does nominating other people's submissions work? Why would this be necessary?

AlBStern, I have come dangerously close to eliminating you based on your submission of these less-than-mediocre band names. However, my fear of a power vacuum in The Game Of Stack!!! -- and the calamitous consequences of such a power vacuum -- prompt me to look past this one lame effort.
AlBStern, you have been saved by nothing more than this first administration's Washingtonian desire to set precedent for smooth and bloodless transitions of leadership.
Use your new lease on life wisely.

Judge Weissenberger,
Criticism noted. I can't be on my game all the time (although I would certainly laugh at seeing people with siamese chins). Thankfully, from now on, I will be nothing more than facilitator to the whims of a fickle forum nation.

The idea is to get the best 64 names, regardless of who submitted them. I know some of my favorites were submitted by others. I will be proud to vote for them.

I thought this same question. My answer to myself was that we are acting as the committee to seed the 64 spots for Al, dipshit. I often call myself dipshit when I can answer my own question. However, I could be wrong, fucknut usually is. Shut up, dipshit. No, you shutup, fucknut! And so forth. My days are really long and women are tenative around me.

I was under the impression that I had already won.
Still, in the spirit of American competition, here's three more (though I suspect I cannot top my game-winning entries):
Spooky Truth
Humble Pay
The Whom
And here are three bands you've never heard of that I actually saw:
String Relief
Outhouse Spiders
Birdy Num-Num*
*The emcee actually announced them as "Burnin' Num-Num"
Beat that, bitches!

Yes, the aircraft carrier and giant "Mission Accomplished" banner had me convinced as well.
