Just logged on to my internet banking and found that my account was nearly empty all of a sudden.

Then I noticed a transaction for £147, converted from euros... another one for £82, another one for £97.

Oh dear.

Just got off the phone with the fraud department, someone's spent the best part of £500 of my money in Italy, Spain and Greece. They also tried transactions for £909 in Spain and £563 in Greece, but they didn't go through.

Good start to the day!

So I just got back from a whistlestop tour of Italy, Spain and Greece - all subsidised by a friendly moustachioed Russian man I met at a Souvaris gig! Played all the great venues: La Casa de Musico Brilliante, Il Salchicha Atractiva and the Sexopolis. I need to pass along some love to this dude, but I can't remember his name. I've sketched what he looks like instead:

Hahaha! I'm sorry dude. I've been there myself - I had a total of £600 whipped out of my account from cash points in India. I got it back, thankfully. If they can establish that you weren't in those places at the times the cash was taken out you'll be fine (albeit a little of pocket until they resolve it).

The wallet-raping lizard bastard banking system doesn't always fuck us over.

That's only because I can't compute what your crazy non-American monetary system entails. To me, all of that looks like you lost enough money to buy a hot dog from a street vendor, or else Montana.
