Sock OR Muffin? wrote:I took the day off for the hell of it today. I have nothing to do until 4pm.

Other than that I will:
Cut my hair.
Take a walk.
Clean a bathroom.

Maybe meet my lady for lunch.
Asshole.

You're right, I'm blessed with many things.

I still don't have a friend called Elite Tha Showstoppa though! The best I can do is a friend called "Rich Guy", who's just filed for bankruptcy (no joke).

I'm hearing this in an American accent. It just sounds wrong.

It was on my cubicle wall for a few months until my idiotic boss suddenly took offense to it one day.

I think this is my 6666th post. I am six thousand more evil than Satan. Boss.

The university changed its phone system over winter break, and now I have a snazzy Avaya 4610 SW IP phone on my desk.

It has a bunch of buttons on it, and there is a cryptic sticker on the desk that reads:

Shapiro, Jodi, Nec *****, Avaya *****, Type 4610, Password ****

wherein the *'s are actually digits.

I have no clue as to what this means. There is a "cheat sheet" for the system on the desk as well, but it does not clear up much.

It's official: I am old enough to be confused by technology. It can only go downhill from here.

Nice phone. Personally, I use an Avaya 5410 - this means it's 17.4% better than yours. I do this thing we call 'the business' using it. I am very good at 'delivering' 'the business'.

In fact, I'm about to do some business all over it right now.

Considering nobody ever calls me here except security ("Who violated room D-426?" is what they always ask me) and vendors asking for someone who died more than a year ago, I doubt that I need a phone 17.4% better than this one.

However, if your phone makes the phone sexing business easier, well, salut!
