I was thinking about how futile life is.
I wanted to give you a tissue.

Have you tried Guacachips before? I much prefer those to the Doritos version.
Also, I believe that I just saw Guacamole Doritos in the store, so either California still has them or they were just very old.

Well, I finally did it.
I locked myself out of my office.
An office that only four people have the key for.
I am supposed to get off work at 9:45.
My co-worker is coming from Brooklyn with his key. It will take an hour.
I knew as soon as I clicked the lock on the cage door that I had locked my ID card/key lanyard inside.
Along with my coat, iPod, bag, etc.
I know this is not a big deal in the grand scheme of things, but I feel so incredibly stupid that I want to cry.

I began carrying an extra door key for my car because I locked my keys in my car three times within two months. The last time, my house was locked, and I had to go to my neighbor's house to call AAA to unlock my damn car.

I used to do this in the winter when I lived in Wisconsin. I had a habit of stopping at gas stations for cigarettes or a beverage, leaving the engine running so the heat would stay on, and locking the door when I shut it with my keys in the ignition of the running car. I have a key on a magnet under the car, but getting to it isn't exactly pleasant when the engine is running and the exhaust fumes are being expelled in one's face as one is lying on the frozen concrete in the dark when it's zero degrees outside.

I have a spare key to the office, but it was on my house keychain, which was in my coat pocket. The coat was on the back of my chair. In my office.
I am home now, finally, and I still feel like crying.
