Seven months of work will culminate for me in an hour and a half.
I have nothing left to do.
I am eating a sandwich with my feet on my desk and I feel very strange.

673I did some interviewing today - I was interviewing school leavers. Some of them were funny without realising.
Q: Can you tell me of some things to look out for in terms of health and safety in an office?
A: errrr..... (looks around room)... um, make sure that there is a window open at all times in case someone passes out, because there's not enough air?
Q: How would you know that you'd completed a task to a customers satisfaction?
A: I would ask them, "so, have we got closure on this?" (this kid was 17).

I'd feel strange if I were eating a sandwich with my feet.
Why are the beautiful ones always crazy?

676Today I pulled a 12 hour shift in the equipment room.
The stream of people needing cameras and lights was neverending.
I managed to totally dazzle and amaze one of the new fulltime students by looking at her negative and telling her how best to print it - and when she followed my instructions, it came out perfect. She asked me how I knew exactly which exposure times to use, and I said "oh, it was just a lucky guess..." but in my mind I was saying "I knew because I am just that good, baby."
Now I am at home, reting my feet until tomorrow, when I go out and shoot some places I am really not supposed to be in.

677Since November 2004, I am the president of a soccer club I have founded with other OGC Nice fans. It's called Garibaldi Football Club. After a very difficult first season of championship (a few tie games and a lot of losses), the club has started its second season last week, losing 4 - 1.
Yesterday, we won our first victory in an official game (we had only won friendly games before). We were 2 goals down after 30 minutes of game but we managed to score a goal just before half-time. We scored three more goals in the second half, winning 4 - 2.
Here is a picture before the game (I am the guy wearing suit on the right):

Thanks! We also had a great time at the (Van Gogh) Pub (which is one of our sponsors) after the game.

Good lord, why?
Congratulations on the win! As well as keeping up with the Nice updates, will you post the Garibaldi results in the soccer thread? These forums could use a pet soccer team, it may as well be in France!
