Well they were bombing Caracas the night they abducted Maduro. They even attacked Hugo Chavez’s mausoleum because ?
Militarily as a distraction for the extraction squad.
But also to post. This is a posting administration. That what they do, they post.

Yeah, the Nobel peace prize going to that maniacal cunt María Corina Machado was clearly a greenlight to toppling Maduro's regime. That all of the leaders of western powers are "waiting for full details" is your sign that they ain't doing jack shit to support Venezuela, regardless what the next step is gonna be.
Clown show. W. Bush round 2.

Yeah, it's pretty clear that the majority of folks who elected Trump think everything he does is not only acceptable but the right thing.

They were already idiots prior to their MAGA brainwashing.

If there are ever consequences for any of the heinous shit that the US govt has committed in just my lifetime, it's going to be better than anything I've experienced.
But I'm not holding my breath.

True. The cultist are gunna be in a cult. They’ve already started coming up with alchemical mental gymnastics to justify this. But there are cracks.

Funniest part is how Trump ghosted Machado. I’m pretty sure because she got the Nobel Peace prize and he didn’t.

Stupid question from an ignorant person: Maduro had a lot of opponents, but I don't recall cases of 'narco-terrorism' being thrown at him until that idiot pulled it from thin air. I'm sure that if there was (even flimsy) evidence of that it would have been used. So what is this trial going to be like? Supine as parts of the US judicial system has been, bogus charges with fabricated evidence is quite a line to cross. Can they just detain him without trial?
I suppose Noriega's conviction took a while, but (to misquote an American politician) Maduro is no Noriega.

Okay, deep breath…
Maduro is not a drug trafficker. Almost all of the illegal opioids in the US are from China via Mexico.
This really is a deliberate distraction tactic from the Trump regime (let’s call a spade a spade here). Yes, there are Venezuelan gangs, but from what I know they’re more focused on people smuggling and racketeering than the drug trade. They do operate in the US but primarily to traffic Venezuelans into the country and then shake the down the communities already there.
Maduro himself is not involved in gang activity but there is evidence that he’s ignoring Venezuelan military that are involved to maintain loyalty.
This BBC explainer recorded in November is very good.

Overall this operation is a complete scam and Americans should feel deeply ashamed of their government, or maybe just even more ashamed than the usual drip drip.
