C) One who actually knows anything about rap would think of "C.R.E.A.M." before claiming that the Wu has the same message as fucking ICP, because he would realize that dropping such a sentiment would make him look like an idiot.

Are you serious?!? Wu Tang have many more negative songs than positive ones! Many of the songs of Wu Tang forever are EXTREMELY misogynistic and almost all of them advocate violence and or materialism at the expense of other (especially when Method Man shows up I've noticed). Only Built for Cuban Linx's entire theme is grossly materialistic/violent. The Gravediggaz have lyrics VERY VERY similar to ICP in content, although the former has better technique.

Also I'm not intimately acquainted with their catalog but according to some sources I've read it turns out ICP were actually trying to convert their fan base to Christianity. Christ was a nice dude, much nicer than horrorcore rap personas. ICP it would seem had a better agenda than Wu Tang. I'd much prefer to see millions of TRUE Christians who don't judge, turn the other cheek, and love their neighbor than millions of juggalos and wannabe gangstas. I do doubt ICPs sincerity but would at least say they & WTC had pretty much identical agendas TO MAKE LOTS OF MONEY.

Yes CREAM has okay lyrics, but what about "A Better Tomorrow" the message song on the very next album has RZA contributing a verse of such gross misogyny it makes my stomach churn:

"[RZA]
Y'all bitches love dances, and pulling down your pants
while your man's on tour, your spending up his advances
Your friends ain't shit, all they do is drink, smoke, and suck dick
The whole projects is trapped in stench
You either high school drop-outs, one to three cop-outs
Fifteen years old, shorty ass and top out
Ninety-nine cent beer drinking pussy stinking
Fucking so much your ass and titties start shrinking
New World Order slave trade, minimum wage, Medicaid
Can a devil fool a Muslim nowadays
Inside my lab, I'm going mad
Took two drags off the blunts, and started breaking down the flag
The blue is for the Crips, the red is for the Bloods
The whites for the cops, and the stars come from the clubs
or the slugs that ignites, through the night, by the dawn
Early light, why is sons fighting for the stripe"

Also I believe this song is proceeded by "Maria" in which all of member of Wu Tang take pot shots at women. In most of his songs U-God advocates cocaine, degrades women and builds up his own idiotic persona. On Ghostface's "Poisonous darts" he discusses getting women addicted to cocaine and becoming his mistresses. I'm pretty sure this is a reoccurring theme of his.

As I said in my previous post I used to "get" rap which consisted of being turned on by the cleverness of the beats and words, liking the beats, and either turning a blind eye to the lyrics or excusing them with the message song. I realized that given the reasons I liked rap I would have to like ICP too because from a technical standpoint they make great hip hop. I strongly believe that most hip hop fans would allow themselves to dig ICP if it wasn't for the ubiquity of Juggalos. I feel like this is only possible in a genre which is divorced from emotion. CREAM doesn't change this, CREAM is a drop of humanity into an ocean of ugliness. It's not like Wu Tang even built a lifeboat like De la Soul.

But what is there in this life that *doesn't* advocate cocaine, degradation of women and the establishment of one's own, idiotic persona? To say nothing of tricking out female coke addicts and making them your sex slaves...
