I got some $25 foam dealies off Amazon so they're off the stands and sitting on the desk now. So far so good, I gotta get used to them.....on some material I am hearing more frequencies (perhaps boosted, but hey bigger woofers, DUH) that I wasn't hearing on the D5's.
