Steely Dan. Steely Dan is definitely the one I get the most shit for liking, even indirectly.

Come to think of it, there is a great deal of music I like that people want to give me shit for. I think from now on I am only going to listen to music that people will give me shit for listening to.

Brett, I appreciate your dissection of Seger. As we have discussed, I have a belated appreciation for him.

I agree that Christina Aguilera is a great singer, and 'Beautiful' is a great song. I can't say I've been tempted to buy any of her records, though, so she doesn't make my list.

In the last three years, the shit giving for liking The Rolling Stones has increased dramatically. I have a pretty good idea why.

For the record, I like everything up to "Undercover" - the bass drum sound on that song is so fucking cool.
