These guys were incredible live. Their first couple of records were great.
I also miss Nice Strong Arm. A lot.
Agreed. The one time I got to see them was with G's vs. B's, Harry Patt Band, and the mighty J. Lizard. Fucking great show. The Out Sound is still one of my fav lp's.

Well spotted! Did you hear the live-in-studio set that Reamann, Ciaran, and Damian did on ResonanceFM on March 31?

79i wish REX would come back.
hardvark signed to geffen and broke up soon after (c 1994). really good band. fun album.
corndolly broke up about the same time. angie plays under her own name. rachel (bass player 1) is now an "information architect" in chicago. matt (bass player 2) is in fiery furnaces.
hum still "brings" "it" when they get together for a show every 18-24 months or so. this last one was sponsored by MGD (beer) and had 7000 tickets distributed for a tent which could contain 3000 people. someone gave hum access to a lot of beer before they played, i'm told.
john cook had a baby? is that what was wrong?

I wish this too. I listened to 3 twice on Sunday. There are parts of that record that still almost make me cry.
