I mean a moral foundation based on 2000 years of Judaeo-Christian faith. Most people who are far to the left are not Christian, and oft times are emphatically anti-Christian.

great. morality isn't limited to those with faith. It's a ridiculous claim. it is completely possible to behave in a moral manner without the use of religion. to know the difference between right and wrong isn't only the domain of christians. Plenty of christians act as though they don't know the difference between the two, which illustrates my point.

I did not say that people who are not Christian cannot act in a moral manner because there is a such thing as natural moral law. I never made such a claim. However if one is an absolute atheist, from where does the natural moral law originate since according to an atheist there is no God?

it's a fairly simple concept, one that can be understood and applied without using guilt or fear of damnation. It's possible to reinforce this in other humans. people do it all the time. Morality existed before religion did. Abraham didn't invent that shit.

Ah yes, the typical technique of the loser: focus upon minor, irrelevant and non-existant grammatical errors. Then the "DEMONIZATION"...it almost had a ring to it like that old Propagandhi song "racist-sexist-homophobe".....Why don't you just respond?

I said "not incommensurable" because many people think that justice and retribution ARE incommensurable, so therefore I said that they are in fact NOT so. I think that is pretty clear. There's no double negative there...
